GATORS® has evolved as the ideal system for providing B2B real estate settlement services to the mortgage finance industry. The system was originally developed in 1997 by General American Corporation (GAC), a company that had served mortgage lenders for more than 60 years.

GAC released its GATORS product in 1999, and the system has experienced continued growth in both features and users. In 2003 GAC was acquired by Fiserv, Inc., a Fortune 500® provider of integrated information management systems and services for financial industries worldwide. The former company and services were integrated within Fiserv as Fiserv Lending Solutions.

GATORS is a web-based workflow management system that enables all types of loan data and documents for settlement services to be electronically produced and transmitted between mortgage lenders and their service providers. GATORS effectively manages the entire process, from order entry and status through product fulfillment, while enabling quick, efficient communications without paper or phone calls.
